
Through the process of editing the pictures for the website...the lines burnt into the timber have been slightly distorted once uploaded...so I apologise for the lack of clarity in the detail

All lettering is initially traced onto the timber - from then on, all the burning is done free-hand.
I used a knife edged nib to draw numerous lines to form the letters.
Pine is an easy timber to burn - thus, more forgiving in allowing a straight or curved line freehand burn
